Magnificently situated in 500 acres of beautiful Sussex downland near Horsham, Mannings Heath Golf Club boasts two outstanding Championship golf courses and a striking clubhouse that dates back to the 17th century.

The par 72, 6,683-yard Waterfall Course stands on land where golf has been played since the very early 1900’s and is now reserved for members and corporate golf days – and of course guests of the nearby sister property South Lodge Hotel. There is a lovely feeling of seclusion created by the mature trees, the dramatic undulating terrain and babbling streams which wind their way alongside 11 of the lush fairways. It is testament to the quality of this course that Gary Player included the 11th hole, known as The Valley, in his imaginary top 18 holes of golf in the World.

Opened in 1996, the beautiful par 70 Kingfisher Course is a truly outstanding green-fee only course set in an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’ and offers breathtaking panoramic views over the tree tops and across the South Downs.

VIP Golf Clinics: our indoor teaching facility, practice range and 18 hole courses are available for coaching by our PGA Professionals.

Our creative events team can help you organise the most unique events and are happy to rise to any challenge. From clay pigeon shooting, archery and fabulous fishing to wine tasting, tennis coaching and private golf tournaments. We have a plethora of ideas to enhance your meeting and trigger healthy, fun competition. Perfect for a variety of functions from a working lunch, ladies that lunch to parties as well as private parties and celebrations. Luxurious accommodation is available at our nearby South Lodge Hotel.

Golf Events

We welcome group and corporate golf days throughout the year for full or half day packages for minimum of 4 and maximum of 120 golfers. Our dedicated team of event organisers is on hand to guide you through the planning stages of your event and throughout the day itself – they take care of all the details that make the difference between a good golf day and a truly great golfing day.

Welcome packs: We can offer assistance in preparing imaginative welcome packs including a course guide.

Golf Clinics: Group and individual tuition – anything from a simple swing check to a focus on fine-tuning certain aspects of your game.

Competition Management: We offer assistance and advice on registration, tee formats and handicapping and can arrange Nearest the Pin, Longest Drive and Beat the Pro competitions.

Branding: Fly your corporate flags, brand our buggies with your logo, display promotional banners and exhibit your product both on the course and in the clubhouse.

Prizes: Our event coordinator will source the perfect prizes to suit your event – competitively priced and if you wish, branded with your company logo.

We have an excellent and varied choice for dining - choose from the fine dining Goldings Restaurant - the only clubhouse restaurant in the UK to be awarded an AA Rosette for the quality of its dining - the buzzing “Spike Bar”, a more informal bar for a pre or post golf refresher or the Lounge Bar, welcoming bar and patio terrace offering fine views over the opening hole - the perfect spot for a snack from the grazing menu.
